What is PARS?

PARS (Pre-Arrival Review System) is the default Canadian shipment type for commercial goods entering Canada by highway carrier. The barcode links the customs broker's release request, submitted electronically to CBSA, to the truck manifest filed via ACI eManifest. CBSA scans the barcode at primary inspection for fast clearance.
